TOWNCRAFT is an everyday-wear brand born in 1927 in the United States. This is TOWNCRAFT's official website in Japan, and the official online store sells current-line (new) clothing based on American everyday wear of that era. The table below shows how the current line differs from used clothing made at that time (vintage) and from the one-of-a-kind ONE IN THE WORLD pieces.
TOWNCRAFT（タウンクラフト）は、1927年にアメリカで生まれた日常着のブランドです。このサイトはTOWNCRAFTの日本の公式サイトで、当時のアメリカの日常着をもとにした現行品（新品）を、公式オンラインストアで販売しています。当時の古着（ヴィンテージ）や一点物のONE IN THE WORLDとの違いは、下の表にまとめています。

In mid-century America, department stores carried clothing that was not special — not workwear, not military, simply what you reached for on a Sunday morning. TOWNCRAFT was one of those names.
あの頃、アメリカの百貨店には「特別ではない服」が並んでいた。 ワークウェアでもミリタリーでもない。日曜の朝に手に取る、名もなき日常着。 Towncraftはそのひとつだった。
Mid-Century American Everyday Wear. That is where this line stands. Born in 1927, TOWNCRAFT dressed ordinary American life with quiet honesty through its mid-century golden age.
Mid-Century American Everyday Wear — それがこのラインの立ち位置である。 1927年に生まれたTowncraftは、 1950年代の黄金期にかけて、飾らない実直さでアメリカの日常を支えた。
No embellishment is added. The materials and construction alone carry forward what was once simply good and unremarkable.

TOWNCRAFT clothing includes used clothing made at the time (vintage) and the current line, which is newly made today. The official online store also carries ONE IN THE WORLD (one-of-a-kind pieces) and SELECT VINTAGE (a selection of used clothing).
TOWNCRAFTの服には、当時作られた古着（ヴィンテージ）と、いま新しく作っている現行品があります。公式オンラインストアでは、このほかに一点物のONE IN THE WORLDと、古着のセレクトであるSELECT VINTAGEを扱っています。

Some current-line product names include “50S”, “60S” or “VINTAGE”, but they are newly made clothing, not used clothing from that era. Some ONE IN THE WORLD product names also include “50S”; these are one-of-a-kind upcycled pieces.
現行品の商品名には「50S」「60S」「VINTAGE」が入るものもありますが、当時の古着ではなく、新しく作った服です。ONE IN THE WORLDにも商品名に「50S」が入るものがありますが、こちらは一点物のアップサイクルです。

Ombre Shirtsオンブレシャツ
Ombre check is a check pattern in which colored yarns are arranged in gradual steps from dark to light to create shading. The fabric of TOWNCRAFT's current-line ombre shirts differs by style. Fabrics include a Rayon 100% fabric woven in Mitsuke (a production area for yarn-dyed textiles) based on archive pieces from that era, a Wool 50%, Polyester 50% fabric, and a Cotton 100% flannel with an ombre check printed on it (as of October 5, 2026).
オンブレチェックは、色糸の濃淡を段階的に並べて陰影を出すチェック柄です。TOWNCRAFTの現行品のオンブレシャツは型ごとに生地が違い、当時のアーカイブをもとに見附（先染めの産地）で織ったレーヨン100%の生地、ウール50%・ポリエステル50%の生地、コットン100%のネル地にオンブレチェックをプリントした生地などがあります（2026年10月5日時点）。

Derby Jacketsダービージャケット
TOWNCRAFT's derby jacket is a front-zip jacket whose design is characterized by its shoulder panels. As of October 5, 2026, the current line has three styles: the PADDED SHORT DERBY JACKET with THERMOLITE® padding, the sheepskin LEATHER DERBY JACKET, and the PIGMENT DYE DERBY JACKET, made of Cotton 100% fabric with a pigment-dye finish. On all three styles, the front zipper is made by IDEAL of the United States.
TOWNCRAFTのダービージャケットは、肩の切り替えがデザインの特徴になっている前ファスナーのジャケットです。2026年10月5日時点の現行品は、中綿（サーモライト®）入りの PADDED SHORT DERBY JACKET、羊革の LEATHER DERBY JACKET、コットン100%の生地にピグメント加工をした PIGMENT DYE DERBY JACKET の3型です。前ファスナーは3型ともアメリカのIDEAL社製です。

Mohair-Blend Shaggy Knitモヘア混のシャギーニット
The MOHAIR SHAGGY CARDIGAN is a cardigan knitted in 7-gauge jacquard from yarn of Acrylic 42%, Nylon 30%, Wool 20%, Mohair 8%. After the garment is made, it is given a shaggy finish that raises the fibers on the surface, and with wear the fibers gather into tufts (as of October 5, 2026). Other knits can be found in SWEATER in the online store (used clothing from other brands is also listed there).
MOHAIR SHAGGY CARDIGAN は、アクリル42%・ナイロン30%・ウール20%・モヘア8%の糸を7ゲージのジャガード編みにしたカーディガンです。製品になってからシャギー加工をして表面に毛足を立てていて、着込むと毛足が束になります（2026年10月5日時点）。ほかのニットは オンラインストアのSWEATER で見られます（他ブランドの古着も並びます）。
